The Cake Designer

Courtney is the one woman, sugar loving pastry chef and designer behind Teehan Cake Design based in Los Angeles, CA. Heavily inspired by her Italian grandma who was a fantastic artist, cook, baker, and showed her love using those things, Courtney immediately found her path for the love of art and food. Once she discovered cake design combined the two, she knew it was what she was meant to do.

Courtney specializes in modern and elegant designed cakes, using swiss meringue buttercream, chocolate ganache and sometimes fondant if the design calls for it! Everything she makes is  made 100% from scratch using the finest ingredients. From her decadent mud cakes, to her divine salted caramel sauce, her cakes truly taste as good as they look. What sets her cakes apart from others is the punch of flavors her cakes provide, all the different layers of flavors as well as an array of textures.

Courtney loves to truly get to know her couples and clients to design something unique and beautiful just for them on their special day.
